Tom and Cat Miller (parents of Patrick and Henry Miller) made a generous donation to our program prior to their moving to Florida last spring. This money is intended for us to continue to build lacrosse in our community. We are in the process of establishing a scholarship fund for people with financial need. If you would have financial need, please email your request to Dave Carcy, our treasurer. This is available for the spring season 2008 for all Pittsburgh Youth Lacrosse players.

Thanks to our generous sponsors
The quality of our Program has been improved by the generous gifts of our sponsors. We want to extend a special thank you to the law firm Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote for a special donation. Additionally, a number of families have made generous donations. We will post some of the donors shortly. We also had a large gift from an anonymous sponsor.
In 2006, Tom & Catalina Miller donated enough money for a scholarship fund. We are excited to provide financial assistance to people in need. Contact David Carcy under the contact us tab for more information.
QCLax is a well known national distributor. They have offered us starter packages for about $200. This includes: stick, helmet, gloves, arm pads and shoulder pads. If you try and buy these items individually you will likely pay more. They are located in Bridgeville. Directions can be found at http://qclax.com/. You can order on-line or by phone and they will ship it to you. QCLax will attend our parents meeting so that you can have helmets sized without going to Bridgeville.
Area retailers like Dicks, Dunhams and Good-to-Go also sell lacrosse equipment. in 2008 a new retailer opened in Mt. Lebonon, Steel City Lacrosse. I have found the selection limited at Dunhams and Dicks and the store personnel are not educated on lacrosse. You can also order from many retailers over the web if you search on lacrosse equipment. However, you may have better luck with exchanges at area retailers.
